More Great Reviews

It’s been a positive week for Rio Nuevo and Rio Chico book reviews.

Edible Phoenix had good things to say about Janet Taylor’s Green Southwest Cookbook. “She is a strong proponent of local food and we especially enjoyed her sidebar mini-profiles of Southern Arizona farms and ranches.” You can read the entire review along with the rest of the Fall edition of Edible Phoenix here.

Kirkus Reviews calls The Tumbleweed Came Back “a victorious conga line of humans and farm animals” and “a particularly chuckle -inducing treat.” The book was written by Carmela LaVigna Coyle and illustrated by Kevin Rechin. The release date is October 1. Read the entire review here.

Kirkus also reviewed The Sunhat by Jennifer Ward with illustrations by Stephanie Roth Sisson. “Rosa loves her sun hat in any form it takes, and readers will appreciate it as well.” The entire review is on the Kirkus web site.

Congratulations to our authors, illustrators, and editorial team!
