How to participate:
1. Read a Rio Chico book: A Cowgirl and Her Horse, The Great Grand Canyon Time Train, Desert Night Desert Day, or Southwest Colors.
2. Draw a picture, write a poem, or just tell us what you like about the book you read using the First Annual Rio Chico Bookmark Contest.
3. Fill out your contact information and send your entry by January 31, 2012, to:

4. Wait! One Grand Prize and 3 runner-up winners in two categories — Grades K-2 and 3- 6! Grand Prize winners will receive a set of all Rio Chico books published through the end of 2012, and another set will be given to the library at the winners’ schools. All winning artwork will be featured in our 2012 Rio Chico bookmark series and launched at the 2012 Tucson Festival of Books!
